Mmmm Baby food

(the fruit went from this^)

(to this^)

Tuesday probably about 2 weeks ago, my mom and I both had off.(mind you I've been trying to post more pictures but my internet is messed up, that's why I haven't posted) We went to Costco and bought tons of fruit to make our own baby food. Last week I had to work at night so my mom made Braylen all his vegetables, so I made the fruit. It was a lot of fun. It's really easy to do. The most time consuming part is cutting the fruit and skinning it but the rest is so easy. I decided to make the baby food now that I know it's so easy. On the plus side it's been proven to be cheaper than buying baby food. In all my mom has made: broccoli, blueberries, asparagus, mashed potatoes, beets and zucchini. I've made: squash, spinach, blackberries, peaches, mango, papaya, peaches, apples sauce and apricots. I still have to make the plums.

New Things

I am trying to upload the video of Braylen scooting but since my Internet isn't working it wont finish up loading onto you tube. So it's coming hopefully soon.

Anyways Braylen is starting to do a couple new things. He is now getting up on all four and rocks. He doesn't get the fact that his arms can't be under him when he crawls, so when he tries he just face plants it. It's really funny. Then his other new thing is when he sits in his highchair he puts his arms back and leans forward. He's horrible to feed because won,t sit still ever.

Past Week

I haven't written in a while, I've been meaning to but haven't. Braylen now is almost 4 1/2 months. My goodness it hasn't seemed that long. He got his shots on the 9th. He did really well this time but still didn't like it. He weighed in at 18lbs and 26 inches. BIG I know. He rolls every which way and he's almost CRAWLING. I have a video of him scooting so I'll upload it to you tube for your enjoyment.

As for me, I have been working when I can, but mostly loving taking care of Braylen. I went to Michigan for their YSA conference. It wasn't the best but it was good. Friday night we got to explore some of there area and it was fun. That was until we left Saturday night. We stopped at a rest stop for food and to switch drivers. When I went to get into the car I noticed we had a flat. I about died. For one, every time I've gotten a flat my Daddy has been there to change it but not this time. I've gotten so many flats that just by watching I knew how to do it. What's funny is that the guy that was riding with us didn't know how but I did. ha ha. I was almost done when the tire wouldn't come off. It was stuck. We were doing everything we could when a tow truck parked next to us. I couldn't figure out who called a tow truck. It turns out he just stopped to go potty. God was watching out for us because what are the chances he parked next to us. He got his sledge hammer and helped us for free. Another guy stopped to help also which was great. Before the tow truck man left he gave me his card and told me he was going to Middleburg heights and if i had trouble he'd turn around for me. We got home safely and today my car got fixed.
