Cabo!

Today we went to my aunt's house after a baby shower. She has this crazy dog named Cabo. We know Braylen needs to get used to him and Cabo needs to get used to a baby, so we didn't really stop him from sniffing and licking at least not in the face. It was so funny. At first I thought that his screeches were him being afraid, but it was more of him being excited but wherry. Every time Cabo came around Braylen would brace himself for the licks but if Cabo wasn't by him he would look at him and screech. Basically demanding him to come. Then I put Braylen on the floor to see if Cabbo would be ok but he went right to him and started licking and one point laid down across from him and stared. New Swing

Today my dad put up Braylen's swing that I got him off of Craig's list. It only cost me FIVE dollars. Amazing huh. Rachel found out that he loved to swing babysitting him one day. When I put him in it and started swinging him he just started laughing. He was in the swing for a little bit but then he started to get hungry.

Every morning he wakes up before me, so when I wake up I hear him talking to his animals. But once I wake up he knows because he pulls his bumper pad down about 2 inches. So when i move my blanket he sees and goes straight to the side I'm at and this is what i see:

Fireworks

For the Fourth of July the family grilled at home then went to a show down on the Black River Landing. I haven't really done anything for the 4th in a long time so it was fun. There was a band, who started playing at 7 until the fireworks started, that my dad wanted to see. The paper said it started at 6 so we were there around 6:15 or so. Braylen was tired and took a nap when I ran home for snacks but he didn't sleep that long. He didn't want to miss all the fun. When the fireworks started he just sat in grandma's lap sucking his thumb, bundled up, and watching the fireworks. He was in a trance looking at them. He stayed awake through the car ride home, which I thought would put him to sleep. Little does mommy know right? I don't think he went to bed 'til 11:30.

Happy Fourth!

Today Braylen turns 5 months. He's getting so big. He's in 6-9 months clothes, almost crawls, eats baby food like a pro. He is starting to venture out of the living room and goes under the table. When he gets stuck he cries. He's just growing too fast. There's really not much to update you on. But the video of him scooting is uploaded. Enjoy!
